Patiently waiting, McDonald's!

Never thought that the McDonald's Valenzuela South Supermarket branch shall be sorely missed. One Valenzuela has been hearing so many silent wishes from friends such as "Kakamiss yung french fries ng Mcdo..." and "Kailan kaya ulit magbubukas ang Mcdo sa South?".

Sooner po please! ^_^
One Valenzuela has noticed that construction has begun. The tarpaulin above is just among the few signages that tell that the long wait is almost over. For the mean time, satisfy your McDonald's cravings at Robinsons Beehive Mall(Gen. T. De Leon-Santolan Road), SM Valenzuela, and at Puregold Paso de Blas (Malinta Exit).

Remembering Dr. Pio Valenzuela

Dr. Pio Valenzuela's birth anniversary fell on a Friday this year. Passing by the Valenzuela City Hall of Justice, One Valenzuela saw several wreaths which were laid in honor of Dr. Pio. Contemplating in a few minutes, she realized that it is already his 145th birth anniversary.

A day before the ceremony, One Valenzuela got the chance to take a look at the coffee table book about Dr. Pio Valenzuela's life through Mr. Jonathan Balsamo, the curator of the city museum and an awesome history professor. He said that a thousand copies were printed. It shall be launched the next day. There were a few books written about Dr. Pio and having another one is absolutely good news.

Before ending this short post, One Valenzuela would like to leave Valenzuelanos a question which could have been asked many times to students taking up the Valenzuela Socio Cultural Heritage subject: If Dr. Pio were alive today, what do you think would he say to us?

Write your thoughts about it below. Every note is greatly appreciated.

Valenzuela People's Park: Soon, Ka-Valenzuelanos!

One Valenzuela has been receiving several queries on where to jog and exercise. Well, this is it! We'll just have to wait a little more, Valenzuelanos.

This is going to be exciting. \m/

See this tarpaulin along McArthur Highway? Even Mr. Pug in the photo will be very happy about this.
