Valenzuela People's Park: Soon, Ka-Valenzuelanos!

One Valenzuela has been receiving several queries on where to jog and exercise. Well, this is it! We'll just have to wait a little more, Valenzuelanos.

This is going to be exciting. \m/

See this tarpaulin along McArthur Highway? Even Mr. Pug in the photo will be very happy about this.

    sana namn may fishing lake dito kahit medyo malaki na pond pra sa fun fishing...yung breed ng isda yung trouts or LMBs... at maganda kung tuturuan ang mga citizens ng tamang catch and release pra mapalaki pa yung mga isda at maging fun activity.. :D

    Nice thing to know pero mukang maliit lang ito pero ok na din kase I need to go to UP diliman para maka takbo at pag tiisan ang service road sa nlex

      Nasubukan ko na rin tumakbo sa Acad Oval, ayos lalo na kapag Linggo. Yun nga lang, may kalayuan talaga.

      Maraming matutuwa sa proyektong ito sa city natin, dahil at last magkakaroon na tayo ng maayos na park. Sana pwede din ang mga pet dogs, bawal kasi sa UP. Basta maging responsable lang ang mga owners. :)

    I've read a lot of critiques and comments about Valenzuela's People Park and the other establishments that the Gatchalians have proposed and approved, two thumbs up I say. I'm really, really hoping - with fingers crossed na sana magkaroon na ng public library ang Valenzuela

      Sa palagay ko, innate naman na sa kahit anong gawing bagay ng tao in general may positive at negative feedback. Basically dahil magkakaiba ang point of view ng bawat indibidwal. So, like you, I am pleased with the positive changes in the city.

      Sa ngayon, tayo lang po ang city sa Metro Manila na walang public library (source: National Library). As a librarian, I believe it is essential to any community. Nasa Local Government Code din po ito. I believe there was a proposed site for a public library here in Malinta just this year. Let us hope that the plan materializes soon. With the current administration in the city, I am very positive about it.
